The Gunsmoke Inn is my quieter North Carolina getaway — a charming rustic barn conversion full of character, just up the street from Riverside Farm. It is smaller than Ronnie's Place, slower paced, and perfect when you want a romantic weekend, a scenic retreat, or a cozy base camp near Hanging Rock and the Dan River.
Climb the actual spiral staircase from the movie set of The Rage: Carrie 2 up to a snug loft bedroom overlooking the main living space below.
